J. and I are ringing in the new year together

since Daddy is at work!!!

Here to hoping 2011 is just as exciting as 2010!

It went by very quickly with our lil guy!

Maybe next year I will stay on top of my blog..

haha or maybe I will just wait till I see Traci

update and then figure I better keep up with her!!!

Christmas Day!!!

Christmas morning this is what

we woke up to at 5 AM...

the child that always sleeps in for us

Decided it was Christmas and to get

us up EARLY!!!

J. cousin Cooper got him

this Big Mickey Mouse!!!

J. was determined that his soon to be new

lil cousin T. boots should fit him.

J. got a tool kit and this is what he thinks

the light is for. Guess to many trips to the Dr.

Maybe we will have to show

him how to use the tools

J. is cooking.

And yet again sitting on a BIG box

of.....

Even better a place to put all the TOYS!!!!

Merry Christmas!

I know I am late but

better late than never right???

J. got to open his presents from us

early since J. would be working.

And what did you get but....

A BOX!!!

Or maybe a four wheeler!!!

But he really likes the box too!!!

And he loved to stand on top of the presents.

Thankfully nothing was breakable

(but then again who would be

crazy enough to get this monster

something breakable!!!)

Its a.....

Basketball Hoop!!!

While mommy is sleeping the boys are......

SO...

As all of you know

I work nights

and

I often times wonder and ponder...

What do the boys do while I am sleeping???

There are days I can hear

arguing,

screaming

and

banging.

But still I stay in bed

and try to sleep through the noise!!

Then I still wonder what are they doing out there???

So while I was trying to

load the snow pics of J.

on the computer to post them

(next post by the way).

I found these....

I now know what they do...

I just had to laugh

Man I think I understand Lil' J. alot more

after seeing these pics.

He acts so much like his dad!!!

J.'s first snow!

J. got to play in the snow for the first time

a couple of weeks ago. I know I am slow!

He loved being pulled in the snow

but was not to sure touching it

in his words its

"brrrrr"

Notice the smile from ear to ear!!

Roscoe had to be right there running with them!

Roscoes First Snow encounter!

Roscoe got his first taste of snow

and...

Loves it!!

He was a big help to J. while he shoveled.

Running as fast as he can through the snow!

Meanwhile Jax is inside just begging at the window

to go outside with them.

But it is a little cold out and we still need to get

some snow pants.

Our goofy lil' guy

J. likes to wake up and then play in his crib

for a little while with his blankets!

This is how he was found this morning!

He loves to wear daddy's hats.

Whenever he leaves them laying around

J. finds them and wears it,

just like daddy. I think I will have to teach him

the right way to wear a hat.

J.'s new look out point

J. figured out if he pushes his

rocking horse up against the wall

he can look out the window!

This is now where I find him

when I peek in on him while he

is playing in his room!

Why do I even bother???

I am not sure why we even bother with

buying this lil' guy

toys???

He would rather be in my tupperware

or baking sheets!

To win me over and not get in trouble

he decides to play peek a boo!

Happy Belated Halloween

Better late than never right?!!!

I know I am way late on these

to all the trick-or-treaters that we had!

Pumpkin Carving

So this year we thought we would let J. help

us carve pumpkins.

Well it turns out he is not a fan of pumpkin guts!

Reaching in for the first time....

Not to sure about the way it feels....

Can't get it off the fingers fast enough

and.....

OH YES... we dry heaved!

J. favorite thing right now is

The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

So we thought we would carve

Mickey and Minnie.

I know it is really dark but it is so light out

that we put them in the bathroom

and took a picture.

They turned out pretty good.

Maybe next year J. can try again

helping out!

First Hair cut!

J. got his first hair cut today.

He did great!!

He sat in a space ship and

drove it and pushed all the buttons!

J. decided she needed some help

with the combing part so he offered his help up!!

Take a quick break to comb his own hair.

Cutting the front was the most challenging

because he wanted to help!!!

He was not too sure about the clippers until

she got the back of then neck and then he just

kept leaning back into it!

And the finished product!!

Looks pretty cute!

And the back is not longer in a mullet

Thank heaven cause mommy had

heard enough from strangers

making comments about it

when we would go out!!

Our baby now looks like a little boy!!
