J. napping

So J. was napping this morning

and now like obsessive parents

we are checking on him like

every 2 minutes!!!

This is what he was doing when J. went to check on him.

Standing up in the crib

it was a first and he was so proud of himself!!

And yet another new toy today!

Gpa and Gma got J. a slide and a swing!

He was so calm sitting in the swing

and rocking. It was amazing!!

He is talented enough to hold his toes and swing!

He really liked it and loved the slide!!

He was already trying to figure out how to climb on it,

soon very soon!!!!

8 months old and what a whirlwind of a 24 hours

Well many already know but we spent last night in the hospital.

I was getting ready for work Tuesday night and went

to check on J. who was napping in his crib.

Only to find him not breathing...

I ripped him out of the crib and was putting him on the floor

when he opened his eyes and took a big gasp.

I can honestly say that this has humbled me some

and will definitely not be taking him for granite.

Nor will he be sleeping in his own room!

Now on to happier moments!

J. is 8 months old today and got a new ball pit.

He is not quite sure about it. But likes it as long

as you are down there with him.

And the first things that he finds is...

the TAG!!!

He has figured out how to crawl and we

are now into EVERYTHING!!

I wanted him to crawl so bad because he was so

close to crawling for a couple of weeks,

now that he is crawling I want him to go back to

just sitting!!! (no not really) but at times yes!

That is in desperate need for furniture

so we can enjoy it!

We are officially in our house!!

Of course that means living in boxes!

But we are making progress getting them unpacked!
