Day 2 of camping

2 men, 2 babies and 4 dogs

all hiking up the mountain.

It was quite the site to see...

And the girls just got to hike up behind them

and enjoy the view!!

This is the waterfall that we hiked to.

of Roscoe he put it on J.!

Camping

This summer we rented a camper and

headed out of town with some

friends of ours.

We had a great weekend

with them camping and hiking

and even managed to keep two kids partly clean!!

We set up this little tent to keep the kids inside of it

because we had a creek running behind us and

this was the safest way to keep J. wrangled!!

OR.... maybe this was the best way!

All J. wanted to do was take his turn

at chopping the wood but the boys just

wouldn't let me have the ax.

So he settled for trying to chop wood with his

shovel.

All the fresh air wore him out as we sat

by the campfire with him sleeping!!

Jax Birthday

I know I know I am WAY behind...

Here are a couple pictures from Jax

birthday back in July!!!

He loved his cake and ice cream!

And my master piece that

only took me all morning to do!

Build a bear

J. went to build a bear with gma and papa

for his birthday.

As you can see papa was trying hard

to convince J. to get a pink bear OR...

a pink Hello Kitty OR....

Mom's choice a dog or....

A pink tie-dye bear

but the winner was....

J. picking out his sound that he wanted

to put in the stuffed animal.

What would my child pick but...

for the dog to sing "Who let the dogs out"

J. giving his heart a kiss to put inside the animal.

J. putting in the heart.

Which actually he loved doing and

this dog has 2 hearts!

He would have put in more if we would

have let him!!!

J. giving his dog a bath.

Then we picked out a basketball outfit

for the dog and J. found the basketball

that the outfit came with and then that is

all he wanted.

We gave the dog his ball and J. was

not happy to share the basketball.

Jax visit to the helicopter

J. got to come up to my work

and take a visit to the

help flight helicopter.

He was in absolute

heaven.

"I fish momma"

We took J. fishing for the first time

and this is what J. kept saying

"I fish momma"

He was very proud of himself.

The BIG fish J. and momma caught!!!

And the gigantic fish daddy and J caught.

Look closely it blends in with Jarred's shirt!!!

J. favorite part of the whole trip

was quacking at the ducks and chasing them!!!

Daddy's Lil' Helper

J. just loves being outside now

that the rain stopped for umm...

ONE day!

He really likes helping his dad mow

the yard.

Here J. is yelling at his

dad because he just mowed there!!!

And his other favorite thing...

SWINGING!!!

Jax's lil passenger!

I made a GREAT garage sale find

and found this John Deer Tractor

and it runs great.

J. loves it

and so does Roscoe.

J. just needs to get a little better at driving

it and maybe Roscoe will stay in longer!!!

Swimming Lessions

J. loves swimming lessons

and he is catching on very quickly.

Here he is doing the monkey walk with

no help and no floatation devices

all on his own.

Rock, Roll and Tumble

J. has been very active

between swimming lessons

and tumbling class.

He loves running around

and climbing on everything.

and they play so good together.

One Year ago....

To think one year ago today...

We closed on this house and were

in a painting frenzy....

And NOW we couldn't be happier!!

Stinkin' Bronchitis

Poor lil' guy has bronchitis and is

not feeling well.

This is when I know he is sick

is when he opts to lay on the couch and watch

tv; instead of running in circles!

Spaghetti Face and body

J. LOVES spaghetti because it

means its a guaranteed BATH...

The lil scavenger who just waits for anything

possible to be dropped.

Notice we have gone from spaghetti

on the face to also on the body as well.
